Quiet Presence Reworked | Vellum 10
An existing prototype of a sling chair, modified to improve structural integrity. Further research and experimentation of traditional wood joinery, Quiet Presence Sling Chair was disassembled and each connection was reconsidered for improved stability and strength. Rebuilt as a continued learning process; with custom jigs, creative use of machines, and trial and error. The piece was then finished with several coats of hand rubbed tung oil and the leather sling was fitted and sewn in manually.
